In 2021, we saw the start of a new administration, the continuation of a pandemic, and social justice battles waged in classrooms and state legislatures. Where do we go from here?
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we're working in community to rebuild.
At the start of the pandemic, Horizons awarded $1 million in emergency grants to Bay Area LGBTQ nonprofits. Later, recognizing the ongoing need, we launched the LGBTQ Resilience and Recovery Fund to provide more targeted support.
We awarded an additional quarter million in grants to fund COVID-related direct services.
Our latest 18 grantee partners are providing targeted to the most underserved segments of the LGBTQ community as we work together toward an eventual recovery from the pandemic.
